C'est en 1860 que commence l'histoire de Trinity Church, deuxième église méthodiste et aujourd'hui la plus ancienne de cette confession du canton d'Eaton et de l'ensemble du territoire de la MRC du Haut-Saint-François. En 1925, l’Église Unie du Canada est formée par l'union de congrégations des Églises presbytériennes, méthodistes et congrégationalistes. Cookshire Methodist Church se joint à l’Union. En 1926, la congrégation vote pour modifier la désignation de l’Église qui devient la Trinity United Church.
The story of the Trinity United Church starts in 1860, it is now the second oldest Methodist church of Eaton County and within the entire territory of the Haut-Saint-François MRC. In 1925, the United Church of Canadan was formed and in 1926, the Cookshire Methodist Church joins United Church of Canada and the congregation votes to modify the name of the church to Trinity United Church.
