Nous sommes ravis de vous inviter dans notre église pendant les Journées du patrimoine religieux de cette année. Nous vous accueillons à la fois pour des visites guidées et en solo. C’est le moment idéal pour voir nos célèbres vitraux, installés tout au long des années 1960, ainsi que notre majestueux pipe-organ, l’un des plus grands de Montréal.

Un Hymn Sing aura également lieu à 13h30 dimanche. C’est un moment où la chorale de notre église accueille le public alors que nous nous réunissons pour chanter nos hymnes préférés. En entrant ou en sortant de l’église, nous vous encourageons à vous promener dans notre jardin tranquille, une oasis spirituelle dans la ville remplie de vie, de croissance et de couleur. Nous espérons que dans notre jardin, nos visiteurs, amis et voisins trouveront réconfort et sérénité.

Des livres écrits par les membres de notre congrégation seront exposés et disponibles à l’achat : « Le livre du souvenir : un guide de notre trésor illuminé » par Donna George, « Saints, pécheurs et écossais : une histoire de l’église Saint-André et Saint-Paul, Montréal, 1803-2003 » par J.S.S. Visit The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul during Religious Heritage Days!

We are excited to invite you to our church during this year’s Religious Heritage Days. We welcome you for both guided and solo tours. It is the perfect time to view our famous stained-glass windows, installed throughout the 1960s, as well as our majestic pipe-organ, one of the largest in Montreal.

A Hymn Sing will also take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. This is a time where our church’s choir welcomes the public as we join together to sing our favourite hymns. On your way in or out of the church, we encourage you to stroll through our Quiet Garden, a spiritual oasis in the city filled with life, growth, and colour. We hope that in our garden our visitors, friends, and neighbours will find solace and serenity.

Books written by our congregation members will be on display and available for purchase: “The Book of Remembrance: A Guide to Our Illuminated Treasure” by Donna George, “Saints, Sinners, and Scots: A History of The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul, Montreal, 1803-2003” by J.S.S. Historique du lieu

L’histoire de notre congrégation remonte à 1803, avec la fondation de l’église Saint-André. L’église Saint-Paul a été fondée en 1832 et les deux congrégations se sont unies en 1918. Le bâtiment actuel a été érigé en 1931-1932 selon le design de Harold Featherstonhaugh, dans un style néogothique élégant.

Plus qu’un simple bâtiment magnifique, l’église Saint-André et Saint-Paul est un centre dynamique de personnes attentionnées qui vivent et partagent le message d’espoir de Dieu tout en rejoignant ceux dans le besoin dans leur communauté locale à Montréal, au Canada, et dans le monde entier. Nous sommes membres de l’Église presbytérienne au Canada. Nous organisons des services de culte traditionnels accompagnés par notre chorale renommée chantant de la musique sacrée traditionnelle tous les dimanches matin à 11h00 dans notre sanctuaire spacieux. En plus des magnifiques vitraux, l’église possède également un majestueux orgue, l’un des plus grands de Montréal, pour accompagner notre chœur. Des services spéciaux et des spectacles musicaux sont organisés tout au long de l’année, tous ouverts au public.

The history of our congregation dates back to 1803, with the founding of St. Andrew’s Church. St. Paul’s Church was founded in 1832 and the two congregations united in 1918. The present building was erected in 1931-1932 to the design of Harold Featherstonhaugh, in an elegant gothic revival style.

More than just a magnificent building, The Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul is a vibrant hub of caring people living and sharing God’s message of hope while reaching out to those in need in their local community in Montreal, Canada, and worldwide. We are members of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. We hold traditional worship services accompanied by our renowned choir singing traditional sacred music every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. in our spacious sanctuary. In addition to the beautiful stained-glass windows, the church also has a majestic organ, one of the largest in Montreal, to accompany our choir. Special services and musical performances are held throughout the year, all open to the public.
